types of wolves

the most common type of wolf is the gray wolf. Did you know that the gray wolves can change there fur.And I do not mean that they dress just like people. What I mean is gray wolves (shed) there coats.They are  gray in the fall.Then white and gray in the winter to blend in with the snow.then there is the red wolf that is that is one out of two wolves in North Carolina. Its red coat  blends in with the terrain of North Carolina. The maned wolf is an unusual  type of wolf.Its head looks like a fox and tail just like a fox with a wolf body and long legs. did you know that when hunting , it taps the ground with its front paw to startle prey, then pounces.
